National and International Awards

CFUW Edmonton is a member of CFUW national and Graduate Women International. Both organizations have awards programs that can be applied to, without membership in those organizations. Check out the opportunities they have below.

National Awards

CFUW national's awards program is run by the CFUW Charitable Trust. The Trust provides funds for a range of post graduate awards and fellowships to women.. The CFUW Fellowships and Awards Program is an affirmative action program as provided for in the Constitution of Canada and eligibility is restricted to women. Applications open in October, awards are announced in April. Click here for full details.

International Awards

GWI’s fellowships programme makes it possible for women graduates to complete exciting research in many important fields. For example, they are analysing the impact of global trends on women and children, investigating women’s health issues and assessing educational subjects. Many are working in areas directly related to GWI priority interests. Their studies will have far-reaching benefits, for their own careers, and for the communities and countries from which they come.
