SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PERIOD OPEN
Electronic Transfers/Payments are an easy way to transfer money from your bank account to a friend/family /vendor or vice versa.
Do the following to make an electronic payment of your CFUW Edmonton membership dues:
Before you can send money, you’ll need to register for Interac e-Transfer. You can call your bank or follow the online instructions in your online bank account to set it up if it is not already active on your account.
Sign on to your bank’s Online Banking or Mobile Banking App.
Select “Interac e-Transfer”. This will take you to the Send Money page.
Choose a contact or follow the directions to add a new contact. A contact must have access to online or mobile banking at a Canadian financial institution.
CFUW Edmonton has a bank account for electronic payments, the email address for electronic payment is epayment@cfuwedmonton.org
Enter “CFUW Edmonton” in the box for recipient name.
Enter the amount you want to send, select the account you’d like to transfer money from and enter an optional message.
Enter a security question with an answer that only you and your contact know. Enter the answer.
Create difficult and unique security questions that only you and the recipient will know. Only share the security question answer with the recipient over a secure method of communication, like over the phone.
Don’t include the security answer in your question. Don’t share your security question answer over email, text or social media. Don’t reuse the same security question answer for multiple recipients.
Note: If your contact is registered for Autodeposit from Interac e-Transfer, you won’t be asked to enter a question and answer.
CFUW Edmonton has autodeposit so you you do not need a security question. If your bank does ask you for a security question you can fill that out but when you hit ‘Confirm’ you will receive the message “This contact has turned on autodeposit. You don’t need a security question.“
Review details and send.
